Who Am I?
Hello there everyone! My name is Ryan Jones. I am 21 years old and live in the Rhondda Valleys in Wales. I recently founded a new social enterprise called Community Computer Care (or CCC for short) that is dedicated to providing digital technology solutions to Rhondda Cynon Taff and surrounding areas. This is a whole new experience for me – and so far it has been fun.
I have plenty of experience with computers. I have worked as a server admin for several years, I have been a voluntary curator for Wolfram|Alpha and a voluntary programmer for Mozilla while working on Mozilla Firefox. I have been programming for many years and have learned many languages in that time. In the past few years I have also taken an interest in web design – partly due to my interest in Mozilla Firefox.
I have a wide range of interests, from programming to particle physics, from web design to computer technology. Currently I am working on several programming related projects that I will outline further in my blog. I am also currently working as a voluntary curator for Wolfram|Alpha. I consider the project to be highly worthwhile and truly innovative.
My other interest at the time of writing is in the new business I helped found. It has taken a lot of hard work and effort but it should be worth while in the end!
